Extend Solutions sponsors social programs in Campus Party 2011

H4SB ("hacking for something better) is an initiative of Campus Party to help ONGs to solve management, control, sponsorship by the use of technology. H4sB Initiative mission is to develop applications, tools, campaigns and processes to solve technological needs of ONGs through the coordination of teams of "geeks" volunteers "hack" these solutions during the week of Campus Party.
¿How it works?
1. Campus Party identifies and selects the participating ONGs, their needs or requirements mapped technology
2. Campus Party selects Hackers groups volunteered to participate in the initiative.
3. The solutions are developed during the week of the event Campus Party development team by
4. Extend solutions sponsored stayed developments or Windows Azure a private cloud.
5. Campus Party tracks and support ONGs that are released after the applications.
Hacking for # somethingbetter seeks not only to help ONGs to do their job better, but to be a space for developing their talent buffs through multidisciplinary working groups creating tangible solutions, functional and exportable to other nations. All solutions are open and free, made with a collaborative philosophy and intended to be shared.
These solutions are being hosted indefinitely and so free high availability infrastructure to Extend Solutions provided without charge to nonprofit work of these NGOs, thus reiterating the commitment to Extend Solutions to the country, its institutions and social assistance programs that exist both at the initiative of government, as private health care initiative.
